Ben Peterson is the Founder and President of Technologies, an energy innovation firm dedicated to advancing sustainable, low-carbon solutions. Originally from Minnesota, he completed his education there to remain close to family and community. Now based in St. Petersburg, Florida, Ben maintains an active lifestyle and strong community involvement, enjoying outdoor activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, and fishing, while regularly engaging in volunteer work and events centered on energy, sports, and the arts.

A results-driven energy professional with over nine years of industry experience, Ben specializes in the design, deployment, and optimization of renewable energy systems and clean technology solutions. He has led more than 1,400 technical and commercial consultations and has successfully delivered approximately 14 megawatts of distributed energy projects across the United States, spanning system analysis, project development, and execution with a focus on solar PV, wind energy, battery storage, green hydrogen, and grid modernization. His interdisciplinary approach integrates systems engineering, environmental science, and techno-economic analysis to develop resilient, scalable, and sustainable energy solutions.

Ben is widely recognized for his strategic insight, technical depth, and collaborative leadership style. He has worked across academia, industry, and the public sector to advance initiatives aligned with decarbonization, climate resilience, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. His work emphasizes data-driven decision-making, lifecycle assessment, and meaningful stakeholder engagement to ensure energy systems are not only technologically advanced, but also socially and environmentally responsible.

In 2022, Ben was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer (ACC). After two years of intensive treatment, he is now in remission and has returned to his professional work with renewed purpose. Driven by resilience and perspective, he remains deeply committed to building a cleaner, more equitable energy future for generations to come.

Thomas Holme, President of Projects, grew up in Shakopee, Minnesota. Remained in Minnesota for all of his education as well as to be closer to his family. Some of his hobbies include fishing, hunting, golfing, watching/playing hockey as well as volunteering Lifeline Pilot. Mr. Holme currently lives in Minneapolis with his finance and their dog.

Mr. Holme has built a career at the intersection of hard work, innovation, and vision. With a background in construction, he understands the importance of strong foundations-not just in buildings, but in the way we power our communities. Over the years, Thomas has gained hands-on experience in every stage of construction, giving him a practical understanding of how energy use and efficiency directly impact both costs and the environment.

As a licensed pilot, Thomas also brings a unique perspective: one that looks beyond the horizon. Aviation has sharpened his awareness of efficiency, precision, and the urgent need for sustainable energy solutions in a changing world. From the sky, the effects of climate and environmental change are clear, fueling Thomas’s passion for sustainable development.

Bridging these two worlds, Thomas is dedicated to promoting green energy solutions that don’t just imagine the future, but actively build it. Whether it’s advocating for renewable integration in construction projects, supporting clean energy innovation, or engaging with communities to inspire change, he believes that the path forward is one where human progress and environmental stewardship go hand in hand.

Mr. Holme’s mission is simple: to help create a future where homes, workplaces, and communities we build today are powered sustainably for generations to come
